Money doesn’t mean anything.” So they built around her, cranes towering over her roof. Her response, “I went through World War II, the noise doesn’t bother me.” She died at home.

N.T. Wright, a Bishop in the Anglican church and a writer, is interviewed on The Colbert Report. He introduces his new book, Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection and the Mission of the Church, arguing that God’s Kingdom is already on its way, and has been since Jesus rose from the grave.” What, he asks, does this mean for our lives right now? What implications does this have in our understanding of heaven?
