Our group discusses sensitive matters. How private is our group’s site?

Your site is literally “by invitation only.” Your group leader sends email invitations, and only those who are invited can join the group. You can always click on your group’s “People” tab to see all those who are part of your team.

Is Caleb’s Cafe just a group blog?

Caleb’s Cafe shares with blogs the ability to post messages and comments, but it goes much further. Caleb’s Cafe is really a communication hub for your group. It allows anyone in your group to post new messages or comments, and will automatically email new messages to the group. Anyone in your group can post messages, photos, files, and can even post new messages or comments simply by sending an email to your group’s calebscafe.com address.

Our group uses another online tool to communicate. How is Caleb’s Cafe different?

Caleb’s Cafe allows your group to have a private group in a Christian environment. Plus, Caleb’s Cafe is very democratic by design. Anyone in your group (not just the leader) can post messages, photos, files. Caleb’s Cafe also offers regular articles, Bible study options, and other resources that are focused on helping grow Christian groups. Some services are designed to help individuals express themselves. Caleb’s Cafe helps groups connect, learn and grow.

What does the service cost?

Creating a user account is free. The free version of Caleb’s Cafe offers all the features that most groups need. For groups that want more storage space or additional Bible study options, we have upgraded subscriptions available.

How customizable will our group’s site be?

Every group has unique needs, and Caleb’s Cafe makes it easy to customize your space. You can customize the message categories, photo albums, and file collections. Your group leader can select the types of articles and Bible study that appear in your group’s site. It’s also easy to adjust email notification settings, change group leaders, and more.
